We may store and process information (electronically or manually) that you supply to us to better understand your needs and how we can improve our products and services. We will check this stored information from time to time and make contact with you solely for the purpose to ensure that it is accurate and up to date. We may provide third parties with summary, but not individual information about website visitors or users of this site.
Terms and Conditions for the National Cycling Centre new user registraion
Thank you for your interest in our website and registering for online booking. You are advised to read these Terms carefully. By continuing with your application and whenever you use our facilities, you confirm that you understand and accept all our terms. We offer three different online membership agreement types; 1. Adult, 2. Over 60 Concession and 3. Under 16 Concession.
If you’re registering as an Under 16 you must also fully complete a parental consent form. This should be completed fully and brought with you on your first session. Alternatively, your parents can complete this form at The National Cycling Centre in person. Once registration is completed for Under 16, you can create an online profile, and bookings and cancellations can be made online as per the other two agreement types. Please note acceptance of your application for online membership is at our discretion.
If you describe yourself as having a disability, are currently on any medication, have any serious medical conditions, have recently received medical advice to the effect that you should not participate or have any other reason to believe that it would be prudent for you to refrain from participating in aerobic activity or any form of sport or exercise, this must be declared in advance of your first session by contacting Reception 01612232244 to discuss details.
By using our facilities, you are deemed to be fit and able to participate in the activity(ies) offered. If in doubt, it is your responsibility to seek advice from your GP or other medical practitioner before using any facility or participating in any activity. Where you are taking part in any physical activity you are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition throughout your use of our facility. In the event of any unusual symptoms occurring, you should inform a member of staff immediately. You must use the equipment and facilities in the correct manner according to instructions and/or coaching; you must not use the same in any manner which constitutes a health and safety risk either to yourself or to others. Any advice given by our staff is given in good faith and should not be relied on if you have health conditions. We are not responsible for any injury or loss you suffer as a consequence of misuse of the any equipment or facilities, or of any health condition that you may have (except where our negligence causes personal injury).
Please also contact Reception if you object to supervised photographs being taken of you / your child for promotional activities.
