JOB VACANCY - NEIGHBOURHOOD PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND MOVEMENT OFFICER

MCRactive are a not for profit organisation, responsible for driving sport and physical activity across Manchester. Our goal is to inspire and encourage everyone to lead more active and healthy lives.
 
We provide leadership and a common narrative for the sport and physical activity landscape across the city, working with the whole sector.
 
As part of our continuing expansion, MCRactive is now looking for three enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individuals to become part of our growing team.
 
We are looking for people who are passionate about making a difference in neighbourhoods, improving health outcomes, tackling health inequalities, and comfortable with testing new ideas and approaches to physical activity and movement in its widest possible sense. The successful candidates should have experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders and local communities. Where possible, they should have a connection or experience working within the given city area (North Manchester, Central Manchester, and South Manchester)
 
Please note these are not delivery roles, and the successful candidate will not be expected to deliver physical activity sessions.

The roles are full time (35 hours per week) however requests for part time hours or job share will be considered.
 
The salary for these positions is £26,975 through to £30,095.
