Communities for All

We are Communities for All (C4All) based in Cheetham Hill, which is an inner city area of Manchester, the area has a population of over 22,562.   The community in the area is very diverse as data from the Census showed, Cheetham Hill Road to be one of the most diverse streets in Britain.

As our principal aim is to support all the communities with the object of encouraging community cohesion, integration, improves social and economic inclusion.  Our aim is to engage all the community in what we do and always looking to improve the centre by working with partner agencies who can work with us to achieve our goals, their goals and the goals of the ward.

The centre is one of a kind in the area and offers initiatives like the following:- Youth club activities, pilates, walking groups, tuition, mixed martial arts, arts and crafts workshops, Health awareness talks (Dementia, Diabetes, Cancer, Schizophrenia, Asthma and Hay fever), social club, exercise classes, Boxercise, Badminton, Table tennis, community clean up days/litter picks, providing food hampers for needy families, helping other charities in the locality such as food banks and much more.  We work with those that are isolated in the community and many of those that do not have English as there first language.

Rainbow Centre

The Rainbow Centre is a user led intergenerational volunteer project, serving Crumpsall and Cheetham Hill and surrounding areas with city wide and local projects. Our main purpose is to offer services run for and by local people, ensuring; equality, empowerment and enablement which is evident in the intergenerational presence of our participants, who determine and implement our activities, designed to increase training, education and employability with health and wellbeing at the heart of all we do to develop social connections, build resilience and independence to meet individual needs and aspirations.

T4C Fitness

T4C Fitness (Time 4 Change Fitness) is a community-driven organisation that currently offers low-cost group fitness classes designed to support individuals at the beginning of their wellness journey. Our sessions based around M8 area and are focused on building confidence, strength, and consistency in a supportive, inclusive environment. We aim to break down barriers to physical activity, especially within underrepresented communities. In the near future, we plan to expand our reach by offering online classes to make fitness even more accessible.

Wai Yin

Wai Yin Society is a pioneering community-led charity based in Greater Manchester, founded in 1988 by Hong Kong and Chinese women to support those facing domestic abuse, poverty, and isolation. Meaning “beautiful and intelligent,” Wai Yin reflects the dignity and strength of the communities it serves. Over 35 years, the organisation has expanded to support diverse ethnic groups, including Somali, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and many others, providing culturally sensitive services across mental health, education, employment, safeguarding, and elder care.

Wai Yin partners with universities for co-produced research to improve health equity for ethnically diverse communities. The charity advocates for inclusion at national forums and influences healthcare policies. Recognised with prestigious awards and royal invitations, Wai Yin remains committed to empowering marginalised individuals through holistic support, community engagement, and cultural celebration, building resilient, inclusive communities across Manchester and beyond.
